Colombian Police Arrest ‘The Doll,’ One of the Most Dangerous Killers in Santander
Colombian authorities have arrested 23-year-old Karen Julieth Ojeda Rodríguez, known locally as “La Muñeca” (The Doll), who is accused of multiple murders allegedly carried out on behalf of the criminal organization Los de la M.
Among her victims is her former partner, Davy Jesus. Ojeda Rodríguez, considered by many as the most dangerous assassin in the Santander region, was apprehended alongside two suspected accomplices during a large-scale police operation. Weapons found during the arrest have been sent for ballistic analysis.
According to police reports, the young woman had begun expanding her criminal activities, assuming a leadership role within a murder-for-hire network that spread fear throughout the area.
The murder of her ex-partner, Davy Jesus, highlights her ruthlessness. Jesus allegedly received a phone call from Ojeda Rodríguez, requesting to meet and resolve a financial dispute. During the encounter, two individuals on a motorcycle shot him dead, in what authorities believe was a hit ordered by “The Doll” herself.
Police in Bucaramanga report that 30 murders were recorded in the first quarter of 2024 alone, many of which are linked to gang-related vendettas.
Ojeda Rodríguez’s arrest is seen as a significant blow to organized crime in the region, as investigators continue working to dismantle the networks responsible for these violent acts.
