Bieta Sulo Reflects on How Her Parents Reacted to Her Relationship with Alban Dudushi
Today, after years together, Bieta Sulo and Alban Dudushi can share countless stories about their relationship. However, the beginning of their love story remains the most cherished and nostalgic chapter. Even though they’ve openly talked about how they met and began dating, the memory of those early days at Top Channel holds a special place in their hearts.
During a recent episode of “Goca dhe Gra”, Bieta revisited the early days of her romance with Alban – particularly the moment her parents learned about their relationship. At the time, Alban had recently ended a marriage and was a father to a young daughter, something that wasn’t easy for Bieta’s parents to accept.
When asked how her parents reacted, Bieta humorously responded, “A bomb…,” adding that although her parents didn’t express much, her father was the most affected. “Of course, they thought – ‘divorced, with a child,’” she recalled.
Bieta shared that her father didn’t find out the way she had planned:
“The day he found out, it wasn’t exactly how I had hoped… he saw us together,” Bieta laughed. “But he didn’t say anything, not a word.”
A calmness fell over the house in the following days, until one moment when Bieta’s mother broke the silence while ironing as Bieta sat on the couch.
“Well… at least he’s tall. He’s a good-looking guy,” her mother remarked.
Bieta joked that since then, Alban has won over both his mother and hers, while she feels lucky to have gained two fathers – her dad and her father-in-law.
Their journey, filled with love and mutual respect, continues to inspire as they openly share the ups and downs that have shaped their bond.
