Myrto Uzuni Becomes Granada’s All-Time Leading Goal Scorer
Albanian national team forward Myrto Uzuni has achieved a historic milestone in Spanish football, becoming Granada CF’s all-time top scorer. Uzuni now holds the record with 46 goals in 103 appearances, surpassing the previous record set by Youssef El Arabi, who scored 44 goals in 134 matches.
This incredible achievement came during Granada’s 3-0 victory over Racing Santander in La Liga 2’s 18th round. Uzuni netted twice, scoring in the 53rd and 76th minutes, securing a well-deserved win for his team. His season tally now stands at 11 goals in just 15 matches.
To honor this historic moment, Granada dedicated a special post to the Albanian striker, solidifying Uzuni’s name in golden letters within the club’s history.
The 29-year-old from Berat not only set a new scoring benchmark but also captained the team for the second consecutive match, showcasing his leadership and vital role within the squad.
Granada signed Uzuni in January 2022 from Ferencváros for €4 million – an investment that has turned into a resounding success. Uzuni continues to shine as a rising star in Albanian and international football, leaving behind a lasting legacy at Granada CF.
